The Scoop: August - A New Way to Play

Hey, an update is an update, right?  Who cares if its half a month late...

I've come to realize over the year that I have been feeling like I'm bogged down by everything in every aspect of my life, and overwhelmed by the notion that I'm in over my head with production.

Then, it occurred to me that I have held that viewpoint all year.  Maybe, it's all been in my head.

I have a new approach to filmmaking figured out.  Its faster, smoother, and easier to manage on the back-end of production.  I feel less stressed out, and I'm pumped to keep pushing forward.  Not that it effects you in any way, nor will you likely see a marked difference in material, but to me it feels like a game changer.  

Note: the movie-that-shall-not-be-named still plagues my soul, and it's release date is far beyond my ability to foresee it.  It has become my white whale, but I'm finally starting to be able to take it in stride.  I swear to myself that it will get done someday.  Sadly, it might be a 2014 release.  Can you imagine?!

Latest News Time!

- NEW MOVIE AUGUST 30th!  That's the goal at least.  The first cut is finished.  All that's left is to write music for it and polish its look.

- Next movie (late September I hope) has already been chosen, music selected, roles casted.  Next step - let my composer Randy know that the music's been determined, and inform the cast that they have been casted....hmmm... probably should have done that first.  Oops.

- More production photos upcoming!  I have been slowly catching up on from previous movies.  In the next month here I hope to be up to date.

I'm excited for the next few movies.  I can't wait to make them.  Although, I'm learning not to announce them yet until we're at least half-way done.
