"I see you like to chew... Maybe you should chew ON MY FIST!" - Kung Fu Panda |
September happened.
Our September release, however, did not.
It wasn't for a lack of trying.
We just had too many projects on our plate all at once. But, as this weekend rolls by, we're past the
peak of our filming season. Projects are
wrapping up, and movies are being finished.
Here's the scoop:
The September movie, originally slotted for September 9th,
will be out the beginning of next week, hopefully Tuesday, October 4th. I'm on my third draft of the film as we
speak, and I have a lot of time set aside to finish it this weekend.
It's been delayed repeatedly because we've been trying to
shoot all our movies now, before the season changes, it gets cold, and the
holiday season kicks in. Previously, we
would write, cast, film, edit, and release one movie a month. In September, we were actively planning,
filming, or editing four!
Halloween 2016 Movie:
Our Halloween movie will look something like this... |
We filmed our Halloween movie last weekend (one of the many
reasons the September movie was on hold).
Filming went very well. However,
it was such a packed day, and we were behind schedule the whole time, so there sadly
weren't any set photos taken. We're
going to wrap up the last of set production this weekend, and then it's just a
matter of editing it.
It will be out the week before Halloween. Tentatively, Tuesday, October 25th.
Future Projects:
There are some other movies in the works, but I won't go
into them much. The December movie was
filmed in July and August. The first cut
is done. The music for it is currently
being written. The February movie was
filmed late August, and the green screen work done in September; we haven't
touched the footage since, but at least it's finished.
Otherwise, there's only one more movie to shoot this year,
and that will probably happen the first weekend of November. If it doesn't happen, we'll shoot something
else over the winter. Right now, I can't
even think that far ahead. We've got two
movies coming out in the next month to take care of first!
