About Stranger Things Studios

Stranger Things Studios was started by Jonny D Strong in June 2011. After having re-watched the original Star Wars trilogy for the n-million time, he remembered that he always had wanted to give film making a go. With the helpful combination of curiosity, boredom, and too much free time, Stranger Things Studios was started. The debut film was made with default computer software, and the "video" function on a wimpy camera from a lost-and-found bin. We kinda moved on from there.

Stranger Things is a small team of film makers based out of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Our goal is to create atypical short films to release primarily on YouTube. Being heavily influenced by Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Video Games, you can trust our material will be of that nature, or at the very least, strange.

We operates on a minimal budget with a mission to produced the best material possible with the resources we have available.

Our older stuff is on Jon's personal YouTube channel.  We no longer use this channel;  nowadays, it serves only as an archive to anything from September 2012 and before.
